Production Assistant
Has experience in most aspects of a pottery studio environment, including wedging, rolling slabs, attaching handles, and the clay recycling process.
Able to maintain a clean workspace, and to manage day to day tasks in an organized fashion. The production assistant will make daily notes on workflow that are shared with the team.
We take current safety precautions very seriously, and much of the work for this position will be done solo in our small studio. Hours are flexible, and time schedules will be laid out and finalized at the top of each month.
Currently this job offers a maximum of 12 hours per week, with the hopes of adding additional hours as we’re able. Pay commensurate with experience.
Production Potter
Has experience in most aspects of a pottery studio environment, including wedging, throwing, attaching handles, and the clay recycling process when needed.
Able to throw repeated forms on the wheel, while striving to maintain the quality, dimensions, and personality of the master forms. These skills to be demonstrated in an interview.
Is able to thrive in an independent environment, and keep notes on day to day tasks and workflow which will be shared with the team.
